Plans and seats

Rivets is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. A purchase creates a license with a number of seats, and the license becomes your organization. Model usage is never billed by Rivets.

The license

• One-time purchase. You pay once. There is no recurring subscription.
• 2 seats included. Every license starts with two seats.
• Additional seats. You can buy more seats than the included two, up to 100 seats per organization.

From purchase to organization

1. After purchase, Rivets gives you a claim token.
2. Create a Rivets account.
3. On Create your organization, enter a name and the claim token. The license’s seats become the organization’s seats, and you become its first owner.

Each claim token creates one organization.

How seats are counted

A seat is used by each member of the organization, owners included, and by each pending invite. Settings › Organization shows seats used, broken down into members and pending invites.

• When every seat is used, owners cannot send more invites.
• Revoking a pending invite frees its seat.
• Accepting an invite turns the pending invite into a member, so the count does not change.

Model usage

Rivets has no app-side AI and bills no inference. Every agent run, and every feature that uses a model (task naming, commit messages, pull request descriptions, the assistant, reviews), runs on your workers through your own Claude Code or Codex login. Usage counts against your own Anthropic or OpenAI subscription.
